Hello My Friend,
If you know me, you know of my reputation for not accepting nonsense from vendors, not accepting the short end of the stick, so to speak. In other words, if I pay for a service and the service is sub par and I'm not given satisfaction... I complain... loud and long.
On the other hand, when I contract a vendor and am given the velvet glove treatment... I 'sing' that individual/company's praise. This post is about such an individual/company.
This post is my song of praise for the way they gave me the velvet glove treatment and over delivered on the service end.
Several months ago, I purchased a traffic exchange script with the intent of adding it to my Internet marketing armamentarium.
Naturally, I wanted to dress the 'naked' script in an appropriate set of clothes for the public (you know: background, header and footer).
I requested quite a few quotes... and the amazing thing is, so many so- called graphics designers web sites have the neat order/request quote page, but it must be for show because so many of the requests I made were not even answered. I concluded they were either too busy or too self-important to respond to requests for quotes.
After much disappointment, I finally found a provider who responded to my quote request in under 12 hours. Their price quote was very reasonable. After a wait on my end, I finally contracted the design team. They started my work on the 12th and finished on the 14th, delivering the finished product (with extras) on the 15th.
Reporting from a personal design perspective... I don't have a clue. The design team patiently walked me through the process, responding quickly to each design modification I requested. Speaking of which, I didn't have an excess of modifications. It was almost like they were tuned into my desires on an intuitive level.
Let me bring this post to a close. I could go on, but I think I've already exceeded the limits of overkill (I have been know to kill a mosquito with a mallet). In sum, I am so pleased with the work done for me by April and the design team at Dot Com Graphic Design.
